Craving Mortadella in midtown
I'd love a simple mortadella sandwhich -- one or two slices on a crispy roll. Trouble is, I'm not in Rome. I'm in Rock Center. Any midtown ideas where I can get something like this? I am a stickler for imported mortadella.

Salumeria Biellese at 8th Av and 29th St is one of the only places around to make their own sausages. They have mortadella sandwiches. I don't think they make the mortadella and I don't know if it's imported, but since they are known for their meats I'd guess it's good quality. www.salumeriabiellese.com I've never eaten there but I stopped by yesterday to check their menu.
