Brunch in Whitby

Any suggestions for a nice place for brunch?

No idea what they're like but the Lake Grill on Brock south of 401 has a Sunday brunch starting at 9am. At least that's what their ad says, the website doesn't mention it. So I'd phone to confirm. Maybe someone else has a better idea of the food is like, the photos don't look promising. Beware -- you can't seem to turn the annoying music off -

if you are hoping for brunch tuesday through saturday, try the Nice Bistro right on Brock Street. however, they are closed sunday/monday.

looks great, but they don't open until noon, and i need something earlier, like 10:30.

soooo.... i am widening my criteria, anyplace decent in whitby where i can take my mother to breakfast on her birthday tomorrow???? getting desperate!
