      We've taken it with us on trips, refrigerating it when possible but having it in our luggage for many hours at a time, and it's survived nicely over the course of a week.

      Wow!! How wonderful. I wonder if Trader Joe's will carry it. I still have 7 blocks in my basement fridge from the Thanksgiving-Christmas run.

      Deis: if it is in wax, it will be just fine. I used to keep the cheese on my dorm windowsill during Vermont winters.

        We've already got a few blocks in the fridge. The KP blicks are shrink wrapped in heavy plastic, not wax. Cabot is not doing major distribution to stores this time but will take volume orders from groups.
