pambaso de tinga

Anyone out there ever heard of a pambaso de tinga? supposed to be a Mexican sloppy joe. If you have, any on the west side? THANKS.

  1. Pambaso de tinga was sort of a holy grail on the SF Board, until a source was located in Oakland.

    The discussion is linked below. Further info is that chipotle chile is used to give the tinga its smoky flavor and the bread is not only toasted on the grill where it soaks up flavors but rubbed beforehand with ancho chile powder giving a red color and spiciness.
