I am in Beaumont for the next two days on business. Can someone direct me to a chow-ish place to eat lunch and dinner? I've been traveling all over the Gulf Coast (NOLA, Baton Rouge, Houston), and am sick of fish. Ate at Pappadeaux just now and while it was good...I'm sick of...

Well, see above.

Little help?

For bbq, you could try willy ray's bbq http://www.willyraysbbq.com/menu.html

For something more upscale, try Bryan's 797 http://www.bryans797.com/menu.cfm?content=dinner I know you are tired of seafood, but i really like the crab bisque...they have a small menu, but many are non-seafood items.

Thanks, ilovetennis. Tried Willy Ray's for lunch and enjoyed it. Meat was good but sides could use some work. Just returned from Bryan's 797. The food was decent...nothing special. But yes, the bisque was good. I really liked the ambiance, and they should realy serve dinner on the porch on nice nights.

Yeah, unfortunately Beaumont doesn't have a lot going for it in a culinary sense...at least not to my knowledge.
