  1. yea, its a tiny little place but a nice option for something different.

    1. I really like them. (I really like rice.)

The nori gets a little soggy on the pre-made omusubi, but I've never had the guts to have one freshly made while there's a long line winding out the door.

      1. One of my favorite places that I don't get to go too often. Never had a bad rice ball there!

        1. A standout item, which I still remember from about three years ago, is the Salmon Burger, sandwiched - if I remember correctly - between two buns of rice. I've liked most of what I've tried there, and the fun of it is that most of the offerings are like little snacks. So, if you're tempted, you can keep trying stuff.

Anyhow, as I always say, give in to your curiosity.

My wife works right across the street from there and has lunch there fairly often. She loves the spicy tuna, chile shrimp, and eel rice balls.
She does admit that it is a bit pricey -- $2 to $2.50 a rice ball, but that doesn't deter her. And if she has extra money left over, she gets a mochi ice cream for dessert!

Ate there about a year ago when I worked across the streed and despite a very fishy smell upon entrance, had a very nice meal. A bit pricey for lunch and the servings were a little small, but prepared with obvious care and the flavors were very good -- I shared with my Mom and we left full. Definitely a needed addition to the neighborhood and worth a try.

It's been a couple of years but I remember there was a discount if you went near closing time.

            2. Definitely a nice change of pace from the dining options we have in this area. But it is pricey for what you get. I easily rack up over $15 for lunch and I'm hungry in 2 hours. But the flavor and the care that goes into the food can't be beat!
