Hey Chow Friends,

I am deemed to be married, yeah!!! I am writing you to ask for your biggest help! I need your help in finding a restaurant or reception site. You see I am a bride on very humble budget. I would like to spend under about $40 per person and I have 100 people to invite. I have been rejected from so many places it is a little sad. Not very attractive for my fiance. If you can scour your neighborhood and give me the names and telephone numbers or addresses of places you think can fit our means please do so. Cuisine should be either American, French, Italian or Chinese. I would love your help! You will make a bride and groom very happy for the rest of her life!

We had our engagement party at Nana in Park Slope -- it is a pan-asian restaurant that we quite like. They interior is sort of industrial chic and they have a lovely garden out back. From what I can remember, we had butlered appetizers and a buffet for the main meal. Everything was great and it should fit in your budget. And as a nice addition, you can plug an ipod into their stereo system for your own music.

The downside is 100 people might be a little bit of a squeeze. If it is a nice day so you can use the back garden, 100 shouldn't be a problem, but if it rains, it might be tight.
