Best Burger - Beijing

We are spending the month of March in Beijing. Last week we had some of the best burgers either of us have ever tried at "New York House - Burgers and Coffee". We didn't try the coffee, so I can't comment on that. I have no idea what the burgers were seasoned with, but they were slightly sweet and savory.

The burgers were large and they claim to never use frozen patties. The bread was fresh and all the condiments and veggies were on the side. We also ordered the fries and the serving was large. The fries were extra crispy and salty.

They have a lot of books and magazines to read and wireless internet. American classic rock music was playing and there were many people in there drinking tea, having lunch and working on their laptops.

Total for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 1 soda was 84 yuan or $12.32 US. A great deal and we will be going back.

Thanks for the tip Pink Punch! Where exactly is New York House?

Sad to say that I only have a list of "places where I will never eat their burgers again" in Beijing.

Hi Quirky! I posted on your blog about the Totoro buns yesterday. The New York House is close to the Wudaokou Subway station on Cheng Fu. It's in the Huaqing Jiayuan block of shopping. It's next door to Lens Crafters.
