Does anyone have any suggestions for restaurants in or near Bethesda, MD.? I will be there tomorrow with my son, daughter-n-law and one year old grandsons, I know about the pizza place and chineese restaurant in Rockville, but I was hoping for a place that was a little nicer. It will be a very stressful day at the National Institute of Health, and I think that a nice dinner will be exactly what we need. If the babies are fussy in a restaurant, I would just take them out. My grandsons eat real people food, so a restaurant with a kids menu isn't important. We probably wouldn't order that food for them anyway.

Your only options are Royal Dragon in Rockville and Pomegranate Bistro in Potomac.

Unlike filth, I assume that (since this is the KOSHER BOARD) that you are looking for a KOSHER restaurant. A new white tablecloth restaurant recently opened in Bethesda and while I can't attest to its quality it is The Pomegranate Bistro, 7943 Tuckerman Lane, Potomac, MD 20854 [phone].

Potomac is not that close to Bethesda.

Only if you consider a 7 miles and a 15 minute drive (barring traffic problems) "not that close"
