There's a bowling alley in Eagle Rock on Eagle Rock Boulevard with a Chinese restaurant -- I believe it's called the Red Dragon -- attached to it. While it wasn't any great shakes, it was pretty decent middle America-type Chinese food. We'd eat there again.

If you go to Hollywood Lanes on Santa Monica Blvd at Hobart, you can walk out the door and you are a few steps away from La Bonita which has good Mexican. What's to stop you from bringing it in to the alley?
