Sabich in Seattle?

I just spent a wonderful week in Israel, and came to love an Iraqi dish called Sabich (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabich for more), which is often called falafel's little cousin. This one is eggplant and egg in pita, among other salads and spices.

I'd love to find a place to have it here, but don't remember having seen it at any of my normal falafel joints. Anyone ever seen this around town?

Alternatively, I found a recipe to approximate it at http://anopencupboard.com/2006/11/03/... which I will of course try, but, first, there are 2 key ingredients I would need to source, so if anyone has any ideas, it would be very appreciated:

1) Amba, a sort of sour mango pickle sauce
2) Multi-cleft heirloom eggplant variety known in the Middle East as “baladi”

For ingredients, try the Souk, middle eastern grocery near Starbuck's #1 at the Market, and at the other end of Pike Place is an odd little grocery stand with bottles and jars of interesting sauces - I get Matouk's Calypso sauce there. Oddball stuff also turns up at Big John's PFI, a block or two South of Uwajimaya.
