To me, all burgers in NC are too overcooked to be good, but the burger at Tupelo Honey is the best I've come across. A friend who likes his burgers more well done says it's the best burger he's ever had. As far as seafood, I've had good fish dishes at many restaurnts including, but not limited to, Limones, Fig, Salsa's, Modesto to name a few.

        Burger:
Jack of the wood, Vigne (kobe beef...cooked to order), Table
        Seafood:
Lobster Trap is decent for oysters at the bar, Blue Water seafood in Hendersonville is launching a new menu this week which I hear is quite promising

          Vigne's burger is pretty good.

I'm so happy to hear about Blue WAter's new menu. I love the owners, I love the outdoor porch, love the wine option (although I liked it better before they started charging corkage) and the seafood is always fresh, but the choices of preparations is limited, and I really don't like the "sides" very much.

Do not take it personally, Maybe I am not a fan of this genre of food

The best burger is at French Fryz on Hendersonville Road. In Hendersonville the best burger is at Hannah Flannaghans. Too bad the one in Asheville's isn't as good.

I would say good by to the burger and head to Salsa. Cubian-Mexican restaurant. Price is right and the food is great.

Last time I was in Asheville(my first time ) I went to Salsa due to the fact of good reviews here---- , Found the food horrible- just a bunch of many flavors mushed together.alot of food and alot of waste-good drinks though

Wow. well, I advise you to ignore all my previous advice...our tastes are exactly opposite. Salsa is my favorite restaurant of all time.

All I can say is that restaurants have bad days, I just haven't been thier on those days. Never had that experiance.
