I received the following email:
Hello Michael,
Thanks for your interest in Stella Artois, currently Stella is not available in the metro LA area. That might change later in the year but no confirmed

launch plans as of yet.
It's not all bad news though, Stella is available throughout the Pasadena area and in some portions of the San Fernando Valley.

Places include Gerlachs liquor. 6pks at 6.99 (626) 799 1166. Bars include Lucky Baldwins , Crown City Brewery, Q,s Billiards in Pasadena and the

Fox and Hounds in Studio City.
If you need any more info, give me a call.
Cheers Dave Medley
Euro manager

As stated in a previous thread, Fox and Hounds (studio city) has Stella, but in bottles. Haven't found it on draught yet.

I wouldn't bother with this beer mate. Its apparently got Tanin (probably spelt incorrectly) in it which is why people go crazy on it. Stick to German biers- they are brewed with no chemicals in them! Stella is regarded as peasant bier in its homeland of Belgium.

Somebody clearly wants us to bother with this beer. When I was recently at the Bastille Day festivities at the Pacific Design Center, it was being announced that very soon Stella would be available all over LA and the Valley.

I believe tannin is a constituent of hops, in which case basically all beers contain tannin.
