Can't think of the name, but it's right next to GINGERGRASS on Glendale Blvd. They make sandwiches and breakfast type food.

Think that's just called Silverlake Coffee Co. Food's pretty bad but is a good non-chain alternative to Starbucks.

Comfort cafe on Hyperion -- really good breakfast and lunch food, on the healthy side but y'wouldn't know it. you can plug in there for free. it's in silverlake, open 7 days a week, close mid-afternoon.
