I am organzing a bachelor party in Dallas and all of us live in Canada and have never been to Dallas.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a place for dinner with great atmosphere and great food?(five of us)

If anyone also has any suggestions on a happening nightclub, that would also be apprecaited.

Thank you!!!

Hibiscus on Henderson. It's near downtown and has great food and a good bar atmosphere. It's sort of a night club with a great steakhouse menu. The owners also own a number of places in the area and there are some great bars within walking distance including the Old Monk (sort of a Belgian Pub), The Porch, and a couple of other places.

Victory Park is on the far end of downtown and has a number of good restaurants and clubs. Havana has a cigar bar which you might like.

Main Street downtown between Field and Ervay has a ton of clubs, but be aware that many of them are mostly bottle service oriented.

Do you know where you will be staying? What kind of food do you all like? Dallas has a LOT of restaurants.

We were planning on staying in the downtown area. Open to anything, though probably pass on Italian and Asian food as we have a lot of those back home.

Happening club: Ghost Bar at the Hotel W in Victory Park

Victory Park is a pretty interesting place overall. Several bars/restaurants.

Fine dining: Stephen Pyles on San Jacinto Downtown (make your reservations as early as possible) or Abacus on McKinney, close to downtown

Casual dining - Mexican - Pepe's & Mito's in Deep Ellum or Monica's Aca y Alla in Deep Ellum

Great dive bar: Double Wide (as in trailer)

Super home cooking: Vern's in Deep Ellum
