Recommendations for good Chinese in Los Gatos / Campbell area

Recently relocated to LG/Campbell and am looking for good Chinese food. Would love it if I could find someone who delivers but it seems that this area doesn't have much in the way of restaurants that deliver.
Thanks.

  1. Guess the question is whether that's the extent of your geographic range or does it extend farther. If Los Gatos/Campbell is it, then there are slim pickings. You might be interested in Chef Ko, linked below, but that would be it. Now if you open yourself to adjacent areas of San Jose and Cupertino then you have a tremendous selection, which in a way explains the void in the immediate Campbell and Los Gatos areas.

I'm willing to venture out a bit but don't want to drive a long way especially in south bay traffic around dinner time. I read the thread and have to say it doesn't really sound appealing. Any other suggestions? The best Chinese I've found so far is Yeung Shing on Winchester.

Would Loon Wah, 1146 S. DeAnza and Fatima Seafood, 1132 S. DeAnza be in your driving range? Is a little north of Stevens Creek too far?

I tried to find good Chinese restaurant in Campbell area and I saw this post. I checked the link and found out Chef Ko has his own website. (www.chefkocuisine.com) The fake-meat is actually the vegi-meat made by beancurd or tofu. I ordered the chow-mei which photo posted in the webpage. The photo didn't look very delicious in yellow but I really wanted some spicy vegi chow-mei without lots of chili. This chow-mei was cooked with curry and "vegi shrimp". It tasted very yummy. Normally, I found vegi chow-mei with a lot of oil but I couldn't find excess oil on this dish. It was very light-oil with some southern asia taste in curry. I finished all of them by myself. Highly recommend this restaurant.

      3. Yeung Shing is the best in the Campbell/Los Gatos area. It is located at 14107 S. Winchester Blvd., Los Gatos, CA 95032, 408-370-2032. They serve Szechuan and Cantonese. They have a website www.yeungshingrestaurant. I have never eaten at the restaurant so I cannot speak to the ambiance. We always just take out food. If you feel like driving, Cupertino offers a multitude of Asian restaurants.

I'll disagree with yeungshing being the best in Campbell.

I enjoy Tsing Tao on Campbell Avenue and San Tomas Aquino Road. They offer a great luncheon menu and several solid dinner plates (Szechuan Beef, Hot Braised fish, Gen Tsu's Chicken) and their pickled cabbage appetizer is excellent.

They don't deliver as far as I know.

          3. A solid choice in Campbell is the Blue Sky Restaurant. Prawns with black bean sauce is my favorite
