Astor Wine and Spirits, Warehouse Wine and Spirits and pretty much any nice liquor store. The bartenders at Little Branch will also sell you a bottle, if I'm not mistaken.

Last time I checked (a few months ago), neither Astor nor Warehouse carried bitters. I was told at Warehouse Wine that because bitters are considered a food product under NY laws, they can't carry them. I hope I'm wrong about this, but I would call first to make sure that these places carry them before venturing out.

Alternatively, I think Pegu Club will sell you a bottle of Peychaud's.

I am almost positive that I've seen it at Gristedes. They aren't good for much, but they do have a good beer selection and a few specialty items. at least on 9th ave/23rd

I know that I've seen a variety of bitters (including some Fee brothers) at Kalustyan's, and I think I've also seen Peychaud's Bitters there.

On the shelf above the dried fruit and nuts across from the cash register.

Also, not in Manhattan, but LeNell's in Red Hook carries lots of bitters. I've actually always been confused how she carries them but other wine/liquor stores seem to not be allowed to . . .
