Remember the scene in "Ratatouille" when the food critic samples the soup and is transported back to his grandmother's kitchen as a child? Thats how I felt when I tried the Turkey/White Bean soup at "Paradou Marche" in the Essex Market on the lower east side. Finally a cook decided to make a real soup and not one of these trendy, boring purees that has the consistency of baby food! You all must try this soup! So hearty it can be a meal in itself!
