Dinner Salads East Bay (Walnut Creek)

I am looking for a place to get substantive dinner salads in the East Bay, preferably near Walnut Creek. We are craving a roasted chicken salad from our old standby restaurant in Virginia - mixed greens with roasted chicken, roasted corn, dates, pine nuts, tomato, and goat cheese with a champagne vinaigrette... yum.... we have yet to find anywhere here that has great salads. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks guys! Chow is a great idea - we have been there, but I never noticed the salads (must not have been in the mood that day) will definitely try it for salads. I have never really been a fan of CPK or Chili's, but Pyramid might be another option too. Thanks!

Ended up eating at CPK yesterday and have to say I was impressed (and surprised) with their salads. Thanks again!

I think California Pizza Kitchen hasreally good salads, and is right in downtown Walnut Creek.

Many of the chains in downtown Walnut Creek will offer meal sized dinner salads like Chili's, California Pizza Kitchen or the Pyramid Ale House.

Extended discussion on dinner salads on the other side of the tunnel. However, Chow in SF has dinner salads on the menu, Cobb, Caesar, Louis and chicken available. They have a branch in Lafayette but I don't know if menu is the same. Certainly will have a hard time finding those ingredients in one dish.

Yes, the Lafayette branch of Chow does have dinner salads as well.
