Vegetarian Restaurants in Atlanta

We double-date with another couple about once a month, and usually plan for dinner out. One of our party has recently decided to become a vegetarian, and now prefers to dine at vegetarian restaurants (as opposed to restaurants with veggie choices). This past weekend, we went to Harmony on Buford Highway, which we all enjoyed very much. I'd love to hear your recommendations for other vegetarian restaurants - especially interesting, ethnic choices, if any exist.

Thanks, y'all!

Cenci is a new spot in East Atlanta Village. There's also Soul Vegetarian in Va-Hi - but it's much more of a cafeteria than a fine-dining place.

Cafe Sunflower is one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in the region.

We stumbled onto World Peace Cafe Atlanta in Sandy Springs last Sunday. Their offerings are all vegetarian and what we each ordered was absolutely delicious. We will be visiting there again soon. This is more of a breakfast, brunch, lunch place than a dinner destination - but it is definitely worth a visit.

on Thursday through Saturday nights, Dynamic Dish - hands down. Its one of my favorite places - veg or non veg - for lunch AND dinner. Plus, its BYOB with no corkage. Just a delightful little place. No website or anything...just call and ask what the menu for the day is.
