Blue Ribbon Bar and Grill questions.

I figured its about time I try the UWS Blue Ribbon. I was wondering how closely spaced together are the tables? I've been to the downtown locations and I hate listening into our neighbors conversations. Too close to the point that at one time we all split a huge dessert by the end if the evening. Thats nice but this I wish to be a little more private. How long are the waits for a table on a weekday?

we sat in the booth room, next to a table of first three really loud women and then two really loud couples, but it didnt interfere with our meal. we overheard a lot of their conversation, but generally i dont think we minded. i think we found their conversation entertaining at points. but if you were looking for a quiet meal i would avoid that room. cant comment on the other room. really liked the restaurant - try the fried chicken.

I agree w/ dkstar1 - went once and forgot to post a review - tables well spaced. We were first seated in a booth next to four v. loud women, but they quickly moved us when we asked, and seemed to understand why. Loved the bone marrow and the black miso cod (miso black cod?). We went for lunch on a Saturday - place was pretty empty. Nice bar area, too.

Waits aren't bad during the week. Tables are spaced fairly well apart - unless of course you sit in the booth room/galley.
