We go to Jake's in Maplewood occasionally for martinis. We have had approximately seven different bartenders when we have been there. Each of the different bartenders has made us several very good martinis when we have visited. We do our's up wet with Ketel One. Compared to many other places, the martinis at Jakes have been consistently good. We have not cared for any of the appetizers that we have tried there. We go for cocktails only.

Jake's in Maplewood has a patio that looks like it would be fantastic when the weather warms up. It sounds like it would be a good place to sit and have martinis! And, I agree, the chow's not too stellar. http://www.chowhound.com/topics/490136
