Reconditioning old cast iron pans?

I have two very old cast iron corn muffin pans that need to be reconditioned and am looking for the proper way to do so.

      http://whatscookingamerica.net/Information/SandingCastIron.htm - this link is useful. to clean it up you can put it in your self cleaning oven cycle - I've done this with great results.
