Mrs. White's or Putter's pickles in Edmonton

littlegreenpea Mar 5, 2008 11:10 AM

I'm on the search for pickles -- the Schwartz's pickle (or something resembling it), to be exact. See my initial query here:

Anyone know where I can find them in Edmonton? Preferably around Whyte Ave or the university area, but anywhere will do.

Thanks!

Sorry - Haven't heard of these before, but good pickles can be found at Kraus & Kraus foodliner (K&K) on Whyte & 100th Street.

Yup, ended up going to the K&K after all. They didn't have the ones I was looking for, but they did have quite the selection.

Half an answer - assuming it is the right Mrs. White's/Whyte's.

Maybe they can point you at a retailer in Edmonton or a wholesaler who can aim you at a retailer.

I love BUBBIES pickles.. very similar to Schwartz's and the closest thing to Gus's pickles (New York). I buy them at Planet Organic here in Calgary. (Refrigerated)
