Tacos Arabes in Central Falls

passing thru Mar 5, 2008 02:50 AM

Had lunch at the wonderful spot that is La Casa del Pueblo on Broad Street in Central Falls yesterday, and just wanted to mention that the tacos arabes that they serve there are totally fantastic. Very flavorful, well spiced and reasonably priced, a couple of these plus a horchata licuado ran me about seven bucks and left me utterly satisfied. I don't know of anywhere else in the area that serves this Pueblan specialty and the people who run this place are so nice that I think anyone interested in latino food in this area owes it to themselves to check it out. Highly recommended.

Not that close, but I had Tacos Arabes at Angelas Cafe in E Boston. I think they were 2.75 or 2.50. Well spiced and flavorful. Unfortunately, they were out of horchata.
