Where to have lunch in Richmond Hill?

I have a work lunch in the area of Richmond Hill coming up, any suggestions? Looking for a some what upscale restaurant to bring a few clients for lunch.

Not that Terra isn't a great spot, but the OP might be in for a bit of sticker shock when he gets the bill. Salads start at $9, most apps are in the $12-$20 range, and mains range from $20 to $50. Add in a few drinks, and if he's bringing 3 clients, he'll be lucky to get out for less than $250. If it's the company's money, that may be OK, but if he's self-employed, it might be a little too pricey.

If they like Asian food, I would recommend some of the many excellent Chinese and Japanese spots often discussed here. Probably a lot more economical.

    2. This may be too far as it's in Aurora - but fills the bill very well.
      The menus are on-line.

      Bistro 171
15171 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G, CA

      1. I would suggest a couple places in Thornhill (very close):
        - Tutto Bene, Yonge just south of Hwy 7, nice little Italian place. Quiet, good service, good food.
        - The Octagon, Yonge b/w Steeles and Hwy 7. Steakhouse.

Yes, I'd second Tutto Bene. Just had a pretty good dinner there last Thursday. Wrote something about it (with picture) -

          1. I can't help you with your work lunch but sometime if it's just you and or your family/friends, give 3 Coins a try.
It's an open kitchen/greasy spoon and the food is great. It's on Yonge just north of Major Mac on the west side.
