brunch for 25

estragon Mar 4, 2008 02:04 PM

A friend is looking for a restaurant to have brunch for 25, for a family birthday. Globe and Studio Cafe have turned them down. They're tentatively booked into the WIndsor Arms, but given the horror stories I've heard about the hotel's attitude and customer service, I smell trouble. Any other ideas? Anything below, or slightly above, the 401 is acceptable.

I'd recommend the King Eddie. Check out this thread, which may offer help you out:

Does anybody know anything about Peartree? I haven't been but I know they do brunch and have a private solarium/room that holds 25, but perhaps not upscale enough considering your other options.

I know this about Peartree: Don't do it. Details provided upon request.

Brassaii is good for large groups.

Brassaii serves a mighty tasty brunch to boot. Communal tables large enough for 25 available.
