Pop a whole one in your mouth & let it disintegrate. The powdered sugar comes off first, then you get the pecan & slight coconut taste in your dissolving cookie. Sip coffee or water or milk - all work well. Great! Usually cookies with coconut taste taste artificial - these don't - surprise!

I was a Girl Scout back in the day, and they used to offer a cookie called a Kookaburra--it was crispy rice, caramel, chocolate--fantastic! I was a terrible accountant, so my mother had to buy a lot of my extra boxes. While embarrassing, it turned out for the best. Early, early in the mornings, I would creep downstairs and eat a whole box of Kookaburras. (This was when I was about 10 years old, had the metabolism of a hummingbird, and got up early of my own volition. Things are different now. Very, very different.)
Since they no longer offer Kookaburras, I eat the cholocate-covered peanut butter patties. I think they are called Tagalongs. There is something remarkable about the packaging of GS cookies, not unlike Pepperidge Farm cookies, that makes you eat many more cookies than you intend. GENIUS! -

re: Tom P
I see I'm about 8 years late...I really loved those cookies and I hope one day the Girl Scouts will start selling them again. Like you, I was a kid in the 80's and I could devour an entire box and not give it a second thought. Thin Mints are a close second but no cookie can ever replace the Kookaburras!!!

Just ate the Ole Ole cookie, a new product this year--I hope this is the last year they offer it!

re: Sweet Tooth
I really like the Ole' Ole's - kindof a crunchier Mexican Wedding cookie with just a touch of coconut thrown in. They are supposed to be low fat, so I'm sure the entire box I consumed one day won't have any effect on my hips...
Samoas & Thin Mints, both frozen, are my other 2 favorites.
Buy more Girl Scout cookies - it's for a great cause!-
re: torta basilica
I was shocked when I tried these. my twin 7 year old girls brought me a box from (shameless plug)their Troop 345 in Woodland Hills, and despite the fact I HATE nuts I liked these sugar coasted cookies! Reduced fat is not an option for extreme sports however, so I cut my losses at 1 box and let my significant other chow down on all the other boxes we have at home until the cases we are storing for the troop are SOLD!!!
FYI - your local troop makes something like 50% of the $ for each box sold, so buy'em while there here, cause we all know "Boy Scout Popcorn" ain't nowhere as good!-

>your local troop makes something like 50%
Actually, more like 12-17% (see link below if you're interested).
But to answer the original question: Thin Mints, frozen!
