La Brea Bakery slipping?
Based on a minute piece of evidence, I can't help thinking that in the months after the sale of the La Brea Bakery business, things may be changing for the worse at the original bakery outlet. Here is my evidence: when I bought a pound of cream cheese at La Brea Bakery recently I received not the light, slightly crumbly fresh cream cheese I've bought there in the past but a gum enhanced nasty sticky substance no better than Philadelphia brand. In any other area I've not observed a change, but I rarely shop there. Have you noticed any signs of decline?
