The Dip in Sherman Oaks

mar52 Mar 3, 2008 02:26 PM

Last week it was spray painted all over that they were gone.

Today it's repainted in new colors.

Hoping The Weiner Factory found a new home.

Sorry to see The Dip go.

As someone who never liked The Dip's mushy sandwiches, I won't mourn the loss. We can only hope that The Weiner Factory moves in.

Bad parking, no inside seating. I loved Weiner Factory, patronized it regularly for well over a decade, and miss it horribly, but is it wrong to hold out hope for a more user-friendly location?

But it's so close to me!

I hated the parking situation there and had mentioned so in some other thread.

Okay, I will hold out. (QT's just doesn't do it for me!)

By the way... the sandwiches weren't that mushy if you only asked them for a slight dip.

I hope for them that the Hollywood location is still going strong.

I've been hoping that the Weiner Factory would move into that abandoned Orange Delite on Ventura at Woodman. And the other day, I saw they put up "for rent" signs - so maybe?

I was one of those who always liked The Dip. But the last time I went, I was disappointed.

First a hot dog then a dip. If you're a small business nearby that sells anything between bread switch to soup and salad quick!
