What's a Curreyworst? Probabaly a "Curreywurst". I imagine it has curry in it.

I eat at Brat Bros. today for lunch. Really good grilled brats on a roll. 14 different varieties, all brats no hot dogs. Turkey, Venison, Lamb, Buffalo along with the usual pork and veal ones. Sides include a really good "Grandma's Sauerkraut" and a bland beef chili with beans. I think they're open 11:30a-7p.

A friend who lives in Encino just took me to More Than Waffles for lunch the other week. It was a damn fine lunch for those who are looking to take years off their lives. ;-D

Yes, Stanleys on Ventura at Matilija Ave., two blocks west of Woodman in Sherman Oaks. Full liquor, very nice patio, and a great menu of salads, and entrees.

Actually, Boneyard Bistro has been serving lunch for quite some time.

It's my understanding that they were open for lunch, but now they're not.....unless it's changed again in the last couple of weeks. I'll be there this week, so I'll check.

Whisper Cafe is really good. I was there a few weeks ago for lunch. Their baked goods are divine. I believe they bake it all there. I'd say they kept it up from when it was L'Artiste.

It's comfortable for a casual lunch with friends.
