I have been on the hunt for a British Style Curry house in Toronto, but have had no luck. I am looking for the sort of place that has hot balti style Madras', Vindaloo, Tikka, etc. Served with fries (chips) and rice... Is there anything in Toronto?

There is a place out on The Quensway called The Queens Arms near Kipling that is probably as close as you will get to the British Style Curry House in Toronto

Dhaba used to do a couple of baltis but prolly much too fancy for what you're expecting. And there used to be a place in the Beach that did curries & fries.

You will likely find it difficult to locate a true british-style curry house. Indian restaurants are going to cater their menus to their clientele. In Britain, it is common to have chips with a curry where as here it is not a popular option.

I think your best bet is to try a few pubs. I've had chips and curry sauce at The Irish Embassy and PJ O'Briens and it was pretty good. They have curry on the menu as well so you could probably just order both separately.
