Ciudad winemaker dinner! Twisted Oak Winery? [moved from L.A. board]

I love Ciudad (Too Hot Tamales restaurant, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger) and when I went to their City Restaurant party on Friday night, I saw a flyer stating that they're doing a winemaker dinner on March 19th. The winery is Twisted Oak from California, and I'm pretty sure that going to attend. Seems like a good deal ($75 for all food and wine with four courses). But I'd like to know a little more about the winery...does anybody have more info?

I cannot recall ever having any of their wines, but you could check out their website . . .

Thanks Zin, already did that. Figured I might find somebody who had tried the wines. they seem like a fun winery though!

I've tried a couple of their wines and am a member of their "twisted few" wine club. In my opinion they make wine well worth drinking. Also, if the dinner is anything like their website you are bound to have a great time at the dinner - they know how to enjoy themselves! Don't forget to bring your rubber chicken, too.

You might also enjoy our blog: http://www.elbloggotorcido.com/ - it kind of shows the other side of Twisted Oak. Or the other other side...

If I can answer any questions, please do let me know!

Another fan of Twisted Oak here. Good on both the reds and whites. Nice Rhone varietals and a good verdelho from Lodi fruit.
