Looking for a great dive with serious food not more then 30 minutes from Fairhope, Alabama.

I agree with Wintzell's Oyster House very good

I also am a big fan of the Wash House in Point Clear

Try the Blue Marlin in Barnwell on Highway 98. Their fried seafood is far superior to Wintzell's. They even do a whole, fried flounder. You can also get a half oyster, half shrimp po'boy. You should also check out Mancy's in downtown Daphne for a true dive.

Hi LoN. While I live outside of Montgomery, we do own a condo in Orange Beach so I checked out Big Daddy's site. Neat looking places but I felt the prices were a tad high. I mean over $23.00 for a lb of fried crab claws???? LOL tell me they are huge and wonderful and we might make the trip over next time we are down that way.

Wintzell's Oyster House in Fairhope is a great place for oysters and other seafood. We went last June and had a great meal complete with oysters on the half shell. Good drinks and a great time.
