Ok. I was just watching an episode of DL and saw that while he was working with garlic, there was an editing snafu. He started chopping garlic with a black knife and wearing a blue t-shirt. In the middle of the chopping he appeared with a white knife and a white shirt. I just thought it was amusing.

these things happen...albeit more frequently on some networks than others ;)

suddenly the food is on the other side of the cutting board, or the knife is different, or the pan is on another burner. and there was an episode of tyler's ultimate [i think] where he was suddenly wearing a different shirt. i was also watching an episode recently where he completely forgot to put an ingredient into the dish, and made no mention of it for the rest of the episode.

also occurs in movies all the time, and it drives me nuts when i notice that from one angle, an actor or actress is clearly holding a glass, and the next instant the drink is sitting on a table a few feet away. but one of the worst offenders in film editing flubs was "speed," with keanu reeves. it was full of inconsistencies. i'll never forget when i saw it, and noticed one of the biggest gaffes - jeff daniels' character was shot in the right leg...cut to the next scene for a ceremony where he's getting a medal, and he's on crutches favoring a bandaged left leg.
