Dried Pappadums?

Anyone know where I can find dried pappadums? I used to get them at Shaw's (Patak's brand), but can't find them there anymore. The ones they used to have were quite good - you cooked them quickly in a broiler or on the stovetop. Thanks.

Does the Indian market (I think it's called New Kashmir) on Hancock St not carry them? I don't go in there too often, but they seemed quite well-stocked the last time I was there. I've never looked for this, but I also find a good variety of groceries, including breads, at Shalimar in Central Square.

      Where are you?
I know they have them in Burlington at both China Merchandise and Spiceland, in the same strip mall opposite the highschool football field.
I'd bet that most of the other Indian groceries have them, too.

Yeah, thanks - I'm in Boston / South Shore. I'll make the haul if I can't find something closer.

Surely any of the Indian grocers on Moody Street in Waltham has the Patak brand. I know the ones you mean, and yeah, they're quite nice!

The Brookline Indian places have them, as well. Madras Masala on Harvard St, and the other Indian place, I'm spacing on the name now, next to Corrib Pub...

If you are on the South Shore, you may want to try looking for them at the South Shore Indian Market on Route 53 in Braintree.
