Bahookas on Rosemead Blvd. in Rosemead...about 1 mile north of the (10)San Bernadino Fwy. Funky purple, red, pink and orange drinks. Ribs, crab puffs and coconut shrimp......

It's actually in Temple City. The decor is just absolutely weird. Fish tanks, furnishings that look like the Bounty shipwrecked on Pitcairn... I mean, it's just WEIRD.

...and was briefly featured in the movie fear and loathing in las vegas, it's that kind of place. wonderful flaming drinks and a giant fish in one aquarium that eats carrots. if you miss kelbo's on pico, this is as close as it's going to get in l.a. for the old tiki/nautical feel.

Best tiki decor in L.A. area is definitely Damon's on Brand Blvd. in Glendale, although the food is steakhouse fare. (They do have tropical drinks, though.) There's always a tremendous wait, however, so best to go at an off-hour on a weekday.

Well, there's Tiki Ti in the 4000s of Sunset. Basically, a Tiki bar.
