I Want to Make a Tamarind Sorbet [Moved from General Chowhounding Topics Board]
I was thinking a Tamarind and Mint sorbet but I will take any and all advice that I can get
To my taste tamarind is oddly tart and yet buttery. I don't know if I like mint with it as it may be lost. Coconut maybe, or even a light vanilla to accentuate the buttery but add the perfume. Maybe play with the flavors in a blender and a quick freeze & stir in small amounts to see how they show up before you invest time and energy in a whole batch.
