Giovannas, again

Looking for lunch yesterday and on the way home called Giovanna's. I ordered a meatball parmesan sub, and I want to say it was probably the best I've ever had. I usually only order lasagna and a salad there...that's their Thursday night special, and it's yummy. I have also ordered one pizza and it was ok, a little on the sweet side for me though. The sub yesterday was flawless. The bread was soft, not crusty...sometimes the sub rolls are so hard it's like they've been sitting on the counter for a few days! The meatballs were just right...not the huge ones that sometimes fall out of the sub because they are too big to get your mouth around. The parm was very parmy...stringy and melty and good. And the bonus...only $4.99! It was wrapped in foil, then paper, and stayed nice and hot until I got home and fixed the dog's dinner, took off the 40-pounds of winter outerwear, and was able to sit down and relax. I will be ordering this again, and would today were it not a Friday in Lent!!!

  1. This place has great food for very low prices. The people who work there are really nice too although they sometimes have a little trouble understanding/speaking English. I'm dieting right now, but I think I'm going to figure out a way to treat myself to their food again sometime soon.

    1. I'm pretty sure the stringy cheese is mozarella , not parm. Sounds good, I'll have to check out the subs.
