Will be staying at Silver Star for a week in March. Looking for restaurants or cafés either at the resort or in the area. Also looking for places to buy food - either small shops or supermarkets. Is there one that carries President's Choice products? Any and all information much appreciated!

great, award-winning italian place called "di Vino's" downtown vernon. homemade pasta, etc. great atmosphere. have been known to take the 1 1/2 hour drive to eat there... i believe was voted best restaurant in the okanogan at some point.
vernon also has some great coffee shops (such as Talking Donkey), an all-you-can eat japanese place, and more. shocking considering how tiny it is!

not sure how far vernon is from silverstar itself, but i believe there is a "superstore" in vernon now, which obviously carries PC products.

Thanks for the info - I'm looking forward to my first time in the Okanagan. I would be grateful for more recs that anyone might have.

On 30th Avenue (main street in the downtown) there is little German deli/butcher shop next to the Safeway parking lot that makes great soups and custom sandwiches at lunch. My grandma was in the seniors' home down the block and we always picked up lunch there.

Also I like the Polson Park Diner for breakfast.

hi! might be too late for this, but i just so happen to live up at silver star!

        restaurants include:

Long Johns - Locals favourite pub, great for burgers, fries, beers
The Club Saloon - Only place on the mountain to serve pizza, turns into a nightclub around 9 pm
The Den - smaller pub style place, good for live music, great lunch specials
Silver Grill Steak and Chop House - never been myself, finer dining
Clementines - Fine Dining in a relaxed atmosphere, also includes the "Fire Side Lounge", which is great for a casual drink. Clementines offers live piano thurs - sat
The Bulldog - more of an "international" menu, offers "Moguls" - a sports pub downstairs.
Bean to Cup - coffee shop good for breakfast, chocolate chip cookies and mochas!
Bugaboos Bakery - great little bakery/coffee shop! everyones favourite!
Lord Aberdeen Market - silver stars local grocery store, very small and limited items, also limited hours, but convinient if staying on mountain

down in vernon there sure is a Super store which sells PC products, its about a half an hour drive from silver star, right to super store.

        hope this helps!!
