Santa Barbara -- Help!

Hi -
I need your help. I don't know Santa Barbara very well at all. I will be staying at the Bacara and have the opportunity of going to dinner at one of the following places --
Miro, Bouchon, Lucky's, Olio E. Limone, Seagrass or Square One. Who has the best rep.? I am pretty adventurous and like all kinds of food (no big restrictions/limitations).

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!

Depends on what you are looking for.

Of those you mentioned, I would say Bouchon.
Although it's not mentioned, if you can go to Ca Dario....do.
Stay away from the Bacara restaurants.

Sea Grass is coming in with very good reviews -- if you want sea food, same owners as buchon. Agree, stay away from Bacara and each of your other choices all have their merits so you will not go wrong, each with different menu specialties. If you want meat, Lucky's with maybe a dash of celebrity; N Italian - Olio; buchon - eclectic, fine preparation; don't know Square One; Quantum is back also and has many fans, and Hungry Cat is very worthy for casual and hip.
