You can't really go wrong w/any of the antipasti. Caponata is great, LOVE the arugula salad, most of the veg I've tried (brussel sprouts, corn, etc.) are good, cheese plates are great (great accompaniments). I actually haven't had the salumi yet. For pizzas, love the mushroom and taleggio, lardo, pane frattau, margherita. The pasta I always end up ordering is the pasta alla normal. Special pizzas and pastas are also usually good. And, of course, save room for the olive oil gelato. I like it plane, not as a copeta.

I agree with you about the antipasti. The caponata is awesome. Their salumi is good as well. I found the pizzas and pastas good, but not their strongest suit. I did enjoy their four cheese pizza. Unless you love taleggio, I wouldn't order it. It really comes with a lot of taleggio. I found it kind of overwhelming.
The gelato is delicious as well. I liked the olive oil gelato, but don't think I could eat an entire order of it. Really good affogato (vanilla gelato with espresso).

I like having their cheese platters. I can't ever remember all the cheese I order. I do know Taleggio is delicious. I've gotten the Prosciutto Arugula, Pane Frattau (comes with a fried egg MM) and various daily special pizzas they have. I haven't gotten any of their pasta dishes, but if they're anything like Lupa/Babbo they should be tasty as well. If you like wine, you should definitely order something from their extensive wine list.

For me it is the Carbonara that I love at Otto. Their prosciutto is excellent also. The quartinos are an excellent idea...especially when you are dining alone. It gives a bit more than a glass.

Fantastic caponata, caprese, cacio e pepe pasta, cheese platters and the most amazing gelato in town...Think flavors like olive oil and zabaglione.

for some reason i think the pizza crust tastes best on the (no tomato sauce) clam pie. my son swears than the pepperoni is "the best in town" mmmm b-sprouts & caponata

I'll second the clam pie. It comes with a huge pile of Manila clams still in their shells. I saw it coming out and I thought it looked ridiculous. But, each clam was delicious, and the effort of disassembling it allowed one to savor the experience.
Aaand I loved the olive oil gelato.

I think the texture of the pizza crust is sad. The pasta dishes are okay, but there are so many other places that have amazing pastas that it's not worth having them at Otto. That being said, I do love the antipasti--the prosciutto is excellent and very fresh. The brussels sprouts, the broccoli and the cauliflower are tasty. And don't miss the octopus with lovage-really nice light flavors.
And obviously, the olive oil coppetta (changes frequently) is ALWAYS awesome.

Otto is all about the Olive Oil Gelotto. You can forgive anything else you don't like about this place once you have some of this mana from heaven.

I really enjoy the Cauliflower "Alla Siciliana"...the rest of the antipasti are very good, but i think this one is the best at Otto. For pasta, I like the Pasta Alla Norma and the linguine with the speck.
