Royal Canadian Pancake House
Years ago when I used to frequent Manhattan, I loved having breakfast/brunch at RCPH. Best french toast that I have ever had. It was always funny to watch people order pancakes and get one bigger than the plate.I know they are all closed now but where can you get a really terrific breakfast/brunch these days in Manhattan?????

Another great breakfast/brunch spot is Norma's in the the Parker Meridien hotel. Great morning fare and some excellent twists...

I am also searching for the best breakfast especially french toast, and I hear Taste, Penelope and flea market has the best. I am going to try all three. I am a native New Yorker and I just ate at a candy store for my breakfast every day before HS or the donut shop in Brooklyn.Never went to the Royal Canadian, but I read about it in a book by Levine.
