Restaurant Oak has a prix fixe menu too... I haven't tried it but I know that they do one on Sunday/Monday nights and I think they have a special prix fixe menu on Wednesday that features a bottle of wine as well...

Unless dinner at Oak is far, far better than brunch, you couldn't give me enough prix fixe wine to enjoy a meal there.

I actually have had much better lunch and dinner experiences at Oak than their horrible, terrible brunch would lead you to believe. A few times, dinner has actually risen to the level of "quite decent, nothing wrong with it."

But I only continue to go there for dinner because it's nearby. I would not go out of my way.

Mills Tavern and New Rivers are both great choices but CP would be my first choice

I haven't tried the prix fixe menu at Mills' Tavern or New Rivers yet and I haven't been to either place for a while so I can't comment on these places. Some other suggestions... Pane E Vino and Zooma have prix fixe menus (before 7:00pm I think). Of these two, I enjoy the Pane E Vino one the best. Waterman Grille has a prix fixe menu. I tried it last week and it was good except for one of the dessert selections that was honestly dreadful. We also tried Chez Pascal for the first time last week. I had the prix fixe and it was WONDERFUL. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu offerings. I think it will be hard for others to live up to the quality of the Chez Pascal prix fixe experience.

Is the prix fixe at New Rivers and Mills' Tavern only on weekdays? And, yes, the prix fixe at Chez Piscal is really good.
