Dinner near MSM (122nd & B'way)

I'm going to a recital at Manhattan School of Music and would like a nice (not noisy) place to grab dinner within (safe) walking distance. I usually take the #1 subway up to 116th and walk from there. Dinner under $50.pp, complete, and not mexican or japanese. Thanks for any help - I'll be up there several times this spring.

We really like Pisticci. It's on LaSalle, just west of Broadway. It's pretty terrific Italian food in a neighborhood-y atmosphere.
