Need a high end & chowish rec for biz dinner near convention center

JGS Feb 27, 2008 03:51 PM

Hi All,

We are staying at the Manchester Hyatt and need a chowish and not loud spot for a client dinner w/ Dr's on Saturday night, March 15th. There will be six in the party.

Having never been to SD I am in need of help.

Fresh fish on the menu would be a plus.

Oceanaire Seafood Room at 4th and Island is probably your best bet. JSix also does a nice job .

Oceanaire sounds exactly like what you're looking for. Probably the best restaurant downtown and arguably the best fish restaurant in San Diego.

I agree with Oceanaire - beautiful place and great food.

Oceanair is definatly good for seafood. Nobu just opened in the hard rock hotel just a few blocks. Great place for anything seafood. Chive does really nice food, but can get a little loud when they are busy.
