Thursday Eats + Cocktails (Toronto)

Hello folks, I need some ideas, please, on where to go for an early-ish dinner and happy hour downtown Toronto.
It's just me and girlfriend and we're going straight from work so we'll be a bit dressed up but not really fancy.

Basically looking for a happy hour, Martini Thursdays sort of deal, but also some tasty eats, someplace fairly priced because my friend's on a budget lol

Might be treading the budget line a bit, but for a great dinner + cocktail evening, eat at Rosebud at queen and Bathurst followed by drinks around the corner at the Paddock sounds about right...

what about the drake- the dining room is a bit much, but eating in the bar area (as long as it's early) is fun.
