We are new to London and are not Irish, but enjoy celebrating St. Patrick's day. Any suggestions of where to go in Central or NW London. (Work in The City, live in Hampstead.)

I think you'll find that it's not really a big thing in London, certainly compared with the parades etc. in some Stateside cities. However I'm sure that any bar called O'Neil's will provide a big green hat on the day. The "Time Out" eating out guide is good for this type of info.

Top of the morning to you!

I'd try to head to an Irish pub that has some music going. I have a feeling Every Irish pub in London has music that night. I'll ask my husband if he has any ideas... that's his scene.
