Last Wknd Away in NYC Before Baby

So coming to the city for our last weekend of freedom before a baby arrives, looking for intimate places to eat, not splurges, not cheap eats, just great food and atmosphere. We're staying Upper West Side, but happy to go downtown. We love Greek, Asian, Indian and wife is into lots of fresh veggies, any recs welcome? Thanks.

For greek food, I vote for Molyvos as well. Very good menu and a fantastic bakalava! The atmosphere is more upscale than traditional greek restaurants. Several pictures of Greece on the wall and greek music playing in the background makes you feel as though you are on the islands.

If you're staying on the UWS, I urge you to visit Kefi for Greek and Earthen Oven for Indian. A little bit down in Hell's Kitchen, I love Bann for Korean and Xing for upscale pan-Asian. Of course there are also plenty of Greek options in that neighborhood, as well.

molyvos for greek. i would say milos, but the price tag is a bit higher.
