How do I rent an old fashioned ice cream truck?

I need an Ice Cream truck to come to my office this Friday. And they want it old school - where a guy scoops ice cream out into cones . . . any ideas?

  1. Is there a Ben & Jerry's near you - I think I recall seeing they would do that, but not sure if its just a hand cart or a truck

    1. Your best bet is to contact your local store (ie:Ben&Jerry's or Baskin Robbins). I believe they both have trucks available for events.

they dont do scoop ice cream but they have a cute pink truck and do novelty pre-packaged ice cream! good luck.

        1. It's a little late but I have seen this really cool retro ice cream truck around serving packaged ice cream and novelty old school candies. They have this web address posted on the side: myspace.com/meltdownpopsicles. Good luck!

          1. It doesn't seem to be a truck, but Dandy Don caters.

            1. Did you end up hiring any of these companies? I am also looking to book and ice cream truck for an event. We are looking for the beginning of May in Claremont, CA. Thanks!

I didnt. Its been well over a year but I went with someone in Burbank - they basically just showed up with a sundae bar but everyone enjoyed it . . .

We ended up hiring Bert and Rocky's in Claremont to come and serve three flavors (they let you pick) for an hour. No-one else responded to our calls or emails (except the one truck that moved to New Orleans)! We liked Bert and Rocky's but we were disappointed that we couldn't get any of the cute trucks to come out.
